1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed and stored securely by Supabase Auth). We also store a display name if you choose to provide one.

Uploaded Content

We store thumbnail images you upload for the purpose of generating predictions. Thumbnails are stored in secure cloud storage (Supabase Storage) and are associated with your account.

Prediction and Performance Data

We store prediction inputs (niche category, channel size), generated predictions (estimated CTR, confidence intervals), and any actual performance data you voluntarily share (actual CTR, views, impressions, YouTube video ID).

Usage Data

We may collect standard usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps to maintain and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the Service: Generate CTR predictions, manage your account, track credits, and display your prediction history.
• Improve our models: Verified results you share (actual CTR data) are used as training data to improve the accuracy of our prediction models. This data is aggregated and anonymized for model training purposes.
• Public track record: Aggregate accuracy metrics (e.g., mean absolute error, percentage of predictions within thresholds) are displayed publicly on our Track Record page. Individual predictions are never publicly identified.
• Communication: Send account-related emails such as password resets and service updates. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Supabase: Our infrastructure provider for authentication, database, and file storage. Supabase processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Vercel: Our hosting provider. Vercel processes requests in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase’s infrastructure, which includes encryption at rest and in transit. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and prediction history for as long as your account is active. Uploaded thumbnails are retained for the purpose of model improvement. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated training data derived from your submissions may be retained indefinitely for model improvement.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your prediction history
• Withdraw consent for data processing (where applicable)

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Supabase Auth requires cookies to maintain your login session.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
